99 Pancakes opened its first store in June 2017 in Kala Ghoda, Mumbai and experienced unprecedented success. Since then the company has been growing exponentially, with 45 plus outlets spread across 15 cities. We also opened doors to the International market with our first International store in Australia. 99Pancakes is a live kitchen concept, all the products are made in front of the customer with the finest quality ingredients. What is 99 Pancakes royalty rate?
7 %+ applicable taxes till 8 lakh sale on monthly basis. Above the sale of Rs. 8 Lakh per month you will be charged 10% + applicable taxes on gross sales.
What about all raw material purchase and other purchase? |
All purchase regarding raw material, pre mix, toppings, ice creams etc. will besupplied by 99 Pancakes and its authorized distributors. It is to facilitate easy working and standardize our menu. It also acts as one stop purchase for easy accounting. Collective buying power will also help less material cost and more profit to our franchise. The cost of transportation of raw material for locations out of Mumbai will be charged extra at actual cost of transport which will be discussed in development process of the outlet. However one free delivery per month will be provided by 99 pancakes.
Will 99 Pancakes finance any amount of money in the project?
99 Pancakes does not provide any financing. The remaining cost if any may be financed through a bank.
How long is the development process to open a store?
Approximately 45 days, from securing a site.
What will be the term of franchise agreement and when will the security deposit will be refunded?
Agreement period will be for 3 years (36 months). Security deposit will be refunded after the term (i.e. 3 years) on completion of the agreement.
If there is a renewal then again security deposit will be carried forward to the company.
Who will recruit the staff and what about training procedures?
All staff will be appointed by the franchisee. However first training will be given by 99 pancakes before opening at no extra cost. There will be extra charge of second training if required by the franchisee.
Training period is minimum 20days before opening the outlet.
What can be a possible loss to the franchise owner?
If the sales go below breakeven mark then the franchise owner may bear a loss to pay its monthly ongoing expenses of rent and electric bill etc..
What is the Advertising contribution percentage?
There is currently a 1% plus applicable takes is marketing fee; however we have the right to exercise up to 2% of Gross Sales.
